According to the latest data from S&P Global, the preliminary Markit manufacturing PMI for the United States in February was 51.5, a 17-month high, and 50.7 was expected, compared with 50.7 in January. U.S. Markit services PMI in February preliminary 51.3, a three-month low, expected 52.3, January's previous reading of 52.5. The monthly decline was the biggest since August. U.S. February Markit composite PMI preliminary 51.4, expected 51.8, January's previous value of 52.
