Japan's exports increased by 11.9% year-on-year in January
According to data released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance, due to increased demand for automotive and chip manufacturing equipment, Japan's exports in January surged by 11.9% year-on-year, exceeding expectations of 9.5% and reaching a new high in a year, with the previous value being 9.8%. In January, Japan's import volume decreased by 9.6% year-on-year to 9.09 trillion yen, marking the 10th consecutive month of year-on-year decline. Japan's trade deficit in January was 1758.3 billion yen (approximately 84 billion yuan).
