First meeting of the China-Us Economic Group
According to the consensus reached by Vice Premier He Lifeng and US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen during their talks in Beijing, the China-Us economic Working Group held its first meeting by video on September 24. The meeting was chaired by deputy ministers of finance of the two countries. The two sides had in-depth, candid and constructive discussions on the macroeconomic situation and policies of the two countries and the world, bilateral economic relations, and cooperation in addressing global challenges.
